About Tony

Tony Scarpero has been with Northpoint Mortgage since March 2017 when he opened and managed our Atlanta in-town branch in Inman Park. With 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Tony is well practiced at tailoring his service to best guide his clients in a way that puts them at ease and keeps them feeling comfortable and informed. “In the complex world of real estate finance, every client has a unique scenario,” he explains, adding that having the foresight to anticipate and remove potential roadblocks in the transaction is critical to his success, as is utilizing the latest technology to streamline the process.

Tony is an expert in structuring financing options for everyone from first time homebuyers, to move-up buyers, vacation homebuyers, investors, or those facing divorce. Being able to provide strategic solutions in very complex financing situations has served well as a Certified Divorce Lending Professional. As a CDLP, Tony often collaborates with many others in the process including the client’s attorney, financial advisor, mediator, and others involved in the divorce process.

Being a divorced Dad as well, family and children are very important to Tony. In 2020 Tony decided to move his new family to CO to be closer to his daughter from his previous marriage. Tony still manages his team in Atlanta, and serves clients in GA, FL, AL and CO while working remotely from the mountains in CO. In his free time you can find him outdoors with his family hiking, skiing, riding bikes or just enjoying time outdoors.
