About Akil

Altruism is the principle or practice of concern for the welfare of others. As a member of society, in which we see others only focused on self, I find myself increasingly prone to enjoying the happiness of others. After completing a four year tour of duty with the Air Force Reserves, where I performed military honors, I searched for a position in life that was as fulfilling as thanking the families of deceased veterans and paying tribute to the stars and stripes. That is why I chose to become a Loan Officer.
Diversity is key in today’s communities, and as a Loan Officer with Northpoint Mortgage, I have the unique ability to help promote the diversification of America. Being able to help Americans with the largest purchase of their lives and doing it with the utmost integrity is my goal. Northpoint Mortgage prides itself in responsible lending of sustainable loans to qualified potential homeowners. Home ownership is part of the American dream, and I would like to partner with citizens to make those dreams come true.
As a member of the Air Force Reserves and as a recent addition to Northpoint Mortgage, I have a special set of skills. Integrity, Service before self, and excellence in all I do are the Air Force core values and during my 20 year service to this nation have become my way of life. Those values align with the mortgage business.
I am excited about this new chapter in my life being facilitator of the American dream. With a team of experienced partners in business, in loan processing and underwriting, I have all the tools to make sure that the loan process is as fulfilling and successful as possible. Whether it be a purchase or a refinance, a conventional, FHA, VA or Jumbo loan I want to be the Loan officer that you call for all your lender needs.
